Reviews
I have been using this product for about a month and I am delighted. Setup and use are easy. The cooks convection option / cooked to perfection. The product was packaged securely and sensibly. It is well thought out. I highly recommend this product to a friend.
With only 2 of us in the household, our best toaster oven for heating frozen food before cooking the new, and toast. This saves our electric bill, and doesn 't heat up the kitchen during the hot months here in Florida. We 've tried many brands over the years and this is not the best. Same size as the previous oven outside, but inside one inch wider. Control is very easy to use, and some great features - such as the timer doesn 't begin to count down until the heat is selected has been reached. Looks great sitting on the table, too. The only feature missing - as in almost all the toaster ovens - is a light inside.
Small oven is fantastic. I was never better toast. It 'sa great convection stove, too. Heats up super fast. Beautiful cuisine. East to clean. Outside the heat, so make sure you leave some space around it. Love intelligent interface. He remembered how you set it last time in a certain fashion, so it 's easy to get perfect results the same every time. I bought mine at Williams Sonoma because I love a "back whenever " policy. I can 't want to re-imagine this little gem though!
Fantastic all-in-one toaster / convection oven. Purchased as an early Christmas for our son and his family. Is Toast big, make good biscuits (ie the grandchildren) and looks so much better on the kitchen counter that their old toaster oven. I bought two Cuisinart toaster / convection ovens (one for you and one for our daughter.) They also were excellent purchases. But this finding Breville when Amazon was a fluke. When my Cuisinart must be replaced I will definitely buy this oven for my Breville intelligent kitchen.
Lil Love this gem! I have read comments about a lot of toaster ovens, but this was revised to death ..... Literally! I saw this oven at Bed Bath and Beyond, and recalled that he had gotten a discount in the mail for 20% discount on a single issue on 30 November 2009. I jumped on the opportunity to save some money lil in this oven. It 's worth the money, but any savings is welcome:) Original price at Bed Bath and Beyond is $ 249.00 and ended up paying about $ 200.00 in the store. I 't pay for shipping because I bought the item in the store. I would recommend to anyone wanting to save a lil Denero to check the coupon on the site and then go buy one! R rOverall ..... I love this oven! Toast Perfect, perfect, and soon the fish I 'll be baking some buns in it. Can 't wait. Perfect for the countertop and easy to use. go buy it! You still have time to use the Bed and bath beyond coupon 20% off. Go check. R rEnjoy!
Even from my oven started taking 30 minutes of warm (Sears said it was normal, I Don 't believe it) I wanted a convection oven. Breville bought this after reading countless reviews Toaster / convection ovens. I love it. It 's worth the money. Cooks quickly and perfect every time. I like the fact that it thaw and then cook. The toast is perfect, although it takes a little more than a toaster. I 'm probably going to put my toaster away and only use my Breville. I 'm looking forward to using the heater plate. What is a nice extra. Rthe Breville is easy to use and easy for consumers. I like that. Now I 'm going to review the Breville slow cooker. Ryou really get what you pay for.
The Breville Smart oven is well constructed and visually pleasing. Its large capacity makes it very convenient kitchen, and everything is fine. The warm-up time is minimal compared to my regular oven, and generates very little heat in the kitchen. I highly recommend this oven top, and will purchase more products Breville. It 'also very easy to use, and ' s the kind of convenience that every cook should have. Will not be disappointed - I urge you to try! Definitely five stars! Bonnie Perretta
Toasters and ovens researched and chose the Bréville. It 's fantastic. Toast is better than any toaster section that "I had (including the status symbol because it is the dual). It works very well as a mini oven too. Get great pizza and other baked item. The functions are easy to understand and comprehend. Even my kids know how to make it work. Easy access to features bagels, frozen, and almost everything. With so many features, I was a little worried that it would be difficult to d 'understand. But it is really easy to use because of easy to understand interface and controls.
I am enjoying my CTO6301 Black & Decker 6-slice toast convection-R-waste, stainless steel oven very much but I still really missing oven and test it thanks to a credit and saved up money, not that from Zappos (out of stock there at the time of writing this). Bake oven is very, very equal. I haven 't had to rotate the baking pan to keep equal to everything which is a sign of a great counter top oven. The biscuits come true even for example. The control panel is very friendly and excellent. Their default settings actually work very well. The oven even offer default settings for Fresh or frozen pizza and you can 'dial ' to the size of pizza too! The toast function works properly. You can set the dark level and the number of slices is Toasting. A single slice of toast is done very evenly. The ability to make a 13 inch pizza is great. The ability to use a standard 9 x 13 pan (no holds) is also great. This beep when the selected temperature is reached. This beep when things are over bake. This will keep the last settings used, but unplugging it for a few minutes will reset it to factory defaults. There's a button to turn off the convection fan off if you wish. No oven light as a side note. This is a very nice looking unit that may be useful to you because it sits out on the counter all the time. I read many reviews and wanted to clarify that my user guide stated in some areas oven proof glass and fine ceramics are used (for example on page 25). It is not only cautioned against using oven proof glass or ceramic. Also my user guide stated that you can cover the dish with aluminum foil but not allow it to hold the sides of the oven. Also, be sure to cover the safe dish or the fan can cause it to move if not (for example on page 25). The exterior of the oven, like almost every counter top ovens, will get hot. I am a big fan of counter top ovens for cost savings alone. I convinced co-workers to try them and they have reported a reduction in their electricity bill just from making this change. The gold wall oven free-standing range oven uses 3,500 watts. Oven is a big 'large oven ' replacement. I it takes a long time (because many things manufactured today aren 't built to last).
We have a good oven with this Breville Cuisinart. We use a toaster every day - for baking, roasting, baking, etc.. I just Chocolate Coffee Marble Loaf out - just perfect at the time recommended in the recipe - I didn 't even change the temperature. We love the idea that quarter-and a sheet pan 13 x 9 "Pan said," No more parts Dinky. This is just what we needed, without being too big - the footprint is more than the Cuisinart that won 't have the 13 "pan. The toast is good too - and how he remembers our definitions. We as the controls - and rack location is marked right on the door. We don 't think it ' s very hot oven for a bench - not as hot as our regular oven. And almost no time pre-heating - what a savings. It seems very large - less cluttered looking than others. We love it!
Great tool! Works brilliantly. R rBTW, said instructions Breville aluminum foil-covered items are OK (just don 't let the foil touch the heating element, common sense:). Manual also says nothing about not using oven proof glass. So don 't have a clue what the negative reviews about you can ' t use foil or oven proof glass discussed. I almost didn 't buy this great piece of kit for this info. Glad I ignored it!
I 've been using the Smart Oven for about a month and so far it is really the best toaster oven I ' ve ever owned. I have used foil and have had no problems with it. The no stick finish inside the oven and on the pans is just that ... no stick so clean up is easy. I like the warm-up feature with the signal to let you know when to put the food in, no more guessing. The door closes completely, unlike my previous oven, and so no heat is escaping and it 's more energy efficient. I highly recommend this product.
When I broke my toaster Nice creator of the brand, I decided to make a toaster oven. I wanted something that looks good and works well, so did lots of research and decided on the Breville without even seeing it in person. It seemed a better choice than a toaster since the toaster oven does much more than sliced bread toasting. Until now, I just love to cook potatoes only. I had forgotten what that taste like baked sweet potatoes. I put in the oven, set the timer, and they 'loans. My husband has never been a big fan of sweet potatoes in the microwave, and now he asks me if I 'd share. It takes a lot longer than the microwave, of course, but cooks convection uniform and cut cooking time considerably. And it warms the third time in the big oven. It also claims to grill, I don 't tried it yet. It 'sa little big to counter but it looks very good with other appliances in stainless steel.
Let me start that I love this oven. The resources and their ability to Bagels bun perfectly and all other modes of operation are better than any other oven outside. The reason for the classification of a star after 2 months of use is that the drive scared me to the point of return for a refund. In fact, I wouldn 't be surprised if a recall is triggered. R rThis morning, after 2 weeks of working perfect, a toasted bagel. After the tone I took out my bread and walked away from the unit and turned the kitchen light on top. When I came in the room with the lights in the room I noticed an orange glow of the oven smart. Keep in mind that the front control panel was dark and the ON was also dark (it has a red ring around the button when), but the heating elements were higher ON! The unit was extremely hot outside. I unplugged it from the wall and left the way for a number of minutes. When I plugged it back in evidence again as soon as it was plugged in. r rok, I have a defective unit. But knowing that and the unit may be in the on position with the control panel is showing it off doesn 't leave me with a warm feeling agitated that a replacement wouldn ' t do the same thing. WHERE ARE THE SAFETYS? It seems to me that there should be some kind of protection over the temperature as a thermal fuse or similar device. At least, there should be a master switch that's some power to reach the heating elements. R ri have sent an email to Breville about this and am waiting to hear back. If you had a similar experience, please leave a comment about it in this review. R rRegards! R rNov. 2, 2009 Update rUpdate: r ri did not return my unit. The engineer in me wanted to understand the problem and identify the best condition to relay to the manufacture. R night rthe write after that I turned the unit back into the power outlet. All elements were left out. I made some toast and a bagel without any problems, allowing the unit to cool down after each use. I have not been able to repeat the stay on condition that I reported above. I was not leaving the unit connected while away. I will continue to monitor and report any changes. R rSeeing that no one commented about having this problem is good news. If I do not have a repeat in a month or two I will delete this comment.
A coworker talked up her toaster oven (different brand) so much I decided to get one. I own a Breville toaster because Consumer Reports rated it the best toaster on the planet, and they were right. It only made sense to get the same brand in ovens. I have literally used this TO everyday since I got it. I have broiled vegetables, toasted bread, bagels, muffins Português, etc.., Baked a pound cake, cooked pizza (both homemade fresh and frozen); roasted heads of garlic; reheated dish after dish of prepared food, and dried sneakers ... okay the last one is not true, but I have no doubt it could be done without heating up your entire kitchen. Everything I 've done has turned out exactly the way it was supposed to. And I do love the the fact that it uses much less electricity than my big oven. Very green. It 's easy enough for my 9 year old to use for toast. Sadly, I haven 't used my regular toaster since I got the oven. I highly recommend this little workhorse. Aside from my coffee maker, it 's the only appliance that gets to stay out on my counter.
Love this oven. When we unpacked the oven, we were impressed by the way was packed and what a beautiful piece of equipment it was. It is a very well done. My first few attempts - roasted chicken and grilled bread - have not been so great. Like anything - no matter how simple - it is a learning process. Short learning period, but still learning. It isn 'long. Now I roast chicken absolutely perfect and I don 't think I ever Toast was perfect - crispy outside, soft inside. For the six months since we 've had this oven, my husband and I have never used our full oven. I bake all my bread in it. All my pots go in the oven. We use it almost daily. R rand while I've never been comfortable in the hot oven regularly, I feel more in control while in the oven roasting, grilling food is something I do regularly now. R you rThank, Breville and all you other reviewers. Without your advice, we would probably never have bought this position because its price. Now, if he ever needed replacing, we would definitely buy it again without hesitation!
First of all, yes, it 's expensive. But it is well built and does absolutely everything it advertises. It 's very sophisticated, but simple to use. The controls are intuitive and easy to understand. I didn 't even need to read the owner ' s manual to use the oven first time, although it 's some very good information in there. Secondly, for the person who gave it 1 star because "you can 't use or foil cups in the oven', which is totally wrong. The manual clearly says that you can use the oven to bake SAFE glass plates and aluminum as well, as long as touch doesn 't the heating elements. Third, yes, the external surfaces and door warm during use. I 'I never saw a toaster that doesn ' heat. Some are much worse than this (EuroPro) Easter. Fourth, to the person who commented that the provided baking pans are 'fragile, and curl up during cooking "I have not had that experience. I think the baking pans are very heavy and durable. The grill pan is as solid as what came with my full size Kenmore Elite! Fifthly, all I 've gone so far cooked perfectly cooked - so that ' s true value of the oven, in my opinion.
This oven is fantastic! I love to bake bread in it and it works better than ever expected. I have 2 other products Bréville, K-Cup coffee maker and blender. You can not beat a product Bréville. The products are well built and looks very nice. Buy a toaster, you will not regret!
I had this oven about 3 months. It works very well for me, except for a problem. I don 't have a furnace in my apartment so this is one. I bake bread about 1.2 times a week and I would like to use a La Cloche bread baker. Unfortunately the top of this oven is too low. I can 't fit the La Cloche. There are also several other items that I use for this, but there is ample room for growth once again not enough in the oven. I had an oven with Rotisserie Hamilton Beach and had a lot of space for these items. It was not as beautiful in use as the Breville nor was equally capable, but at least had the room I needed to cook what I wanted. I had to Break It Out of storage when I bake bread in those days. Considering the cost Hamilton Beach only about 40% of what the cost Breville I was not worried at this point. The Breville does most of what I want, but when push comes to shove in that area is just missing one. About 2-3 cm in height would solve the problem completely and the oven is not more sensitive than it already is. It would make a difference and then I would give this 5 stars instead of 3.
I 've used ours every night for three weeks, and this is undoubtedly the best oven for the price we ' ve never owned or used. Seriously qualified long reflected on this furnace, and applied the finish, fit and appearance that Works. The temperature and the timing is correct, pre-heat function is fantastic, the fan is silent and the alarm "buzzers " are subtle but effective (not obnoxiously loud or long). In a previous post, I pulled another furnace brand to be the exact opposite of this oven, thank you for Breville to deliver a product worth the $ $ $. Let 's hope it lasts ... R rThis is so good that I 'm buying more Breville ' is for cooking.
I gave one to my son and daughter in law - love it, but have trouble finding where they put so it won 't crack the fuse in the old house they rent.
This is a beautifully designed oven countertops. I was originally in the market for a small toaster oven, but these days they are all poorly designed and I decided to take a closer look at the reviews on Amazon and elsewhere. Convinced I was (correctly) that Despite the larger capacity and price tag, the Bréville was the way to go. R rther 's not much I can add that hasn ' t already been said. I tried to purchase the bamboo accessory for the top and the USA Bréville website was under construction. And contacted the company by email and got a prompt response with a phone number for ordering. They also confirmed that responding person the bamboo cutting board I already owned was fine to use ($ 10 at a discount store and the exact dimensions ... I got lucky). Probably I will remove it for longer cooking sessions since the oven does get very hot to the touch on the outside, but leaving it in place seems to be fine when making toast, etc.. R RSO far I 've used it to cook toast and bake fish .. it worked perfectly!
I 'm happy with the purchase. Cook very well. You can toast 6 slices of toast, sandwiches, pizzas, etc. I do on a slice of bread, spagetti sauce, a slice of American cheese and a sprinkle of Mrs. Dash. I get 6 of cooking, while I devoured the 6 I did before. My last toaster could only make 4 at a time. I wish this new oven. It 'been a bit' expensive, but I had a really nice oven. It was also shipped quickly.
So far, I am delighted with this product. I doubt I will use my regular oven thanks to the efficiency of the Breville. I was able to use my coupon BBB shop so we took a little of the sting of prices. GH made a wonderful meatloaf yesterday. Besides, love Don 't have to defrost the bread in the microwave oven before roasting. Breville does everything in one step and out perfect. RI 'm using all my vegetables and although Don ' t like the parts that came with it I am finding solutions. My Copco vintage enameled cast iron gratin pan fits perfectly (and nothing sticks to it). And the small cookie sheet doughmakers slides directly into the slot of the furnace and is removed by magnets. R rmy One concern is about the results and leaves While many posters that say it is okay to use - My manual seems very clear. R rNOTE: "Do not cover any part of the furnace, including accessories, pans and dishes with aluminum foil. This can cause overheating of the oven. " She says this several times in the manual. RNOWHERE does it say this: "NOTE: When using sheet metal to cover accessories, pans and dishes, we recommend that the wire rack in the middle or bottom location. " And "Make sure the sheet metal is well equipped and close contact with the oven 's heating elements can cause overheating and fire hazard. " r rI think I may be seeing a revised manual. R rit also says "Do not use any kind of lids in the oven as hot ingredients can cause pressure and damage ". R rSince tops are as paper I Don 't know quite what to do with items that are discovered in the end of cooking. R reven Considering this drawback, the quality and performance of this jewel is miles beyond any of the small appliances I have owned. I recommend it.
