Description
Bréville ikon Multi-Speed Juice Fountain is 900 watt. It has a 5 speed high speed engine that features a built-in electronic smart chip that increases power to the cutting disc under heavy loads. As a result, the filter extracts more juice and can make an 8 ounce glass in just 5 seconds. The 3 "feed tube allows for the easy and efficient processing of whole fruits and vegetables, without pre-cutting, slicing or peeling. It is uniquely positioned directly over the center of the cutting disc for better balance and consistent results. The 5 speed settings make the ikon Juice Fountain the most versatile juice extractor available. The lower speeds are for softer fruits and leafy green vegetables. The higher speeds maximize extraction from dense foods such as apples and carrots.
Reviews
This is a great machine, but not very powerful it is often necessary to clean when taking large amounts of juice or the juice comes out. Other than that I would recommend it to anyone.
My Breville Juicer arrived yesterday and I have used it three times already. Very well made and I am pleased with the results of the juice it extracts. The pulp was on the dry side so it is working like it should. Yes, there are many pieces to clean but I just rinsed everything and put into hot soapy water to soak while I sipped my juice so the cleaning to me was not a big deal. Also, I do not find it that loud, my Cuisinart coffee grinder and are much louder. Amazon shipped on time and all is good. The reviews here really helped me make a good choice.
i love juicing. i juice a day for my family. However, mos 8th of daily use, the filter / mesh part comes apart from the funnel. i don 't color of the juice of apples or pears, but I do lemons and grapefruit juice with the seeds in them. I called a spare part and it costs 65 U.S. dollars plus shipping. Quite an expensive part. I do not know recommned this model. Against this model, I had a juicer that lasted 5 years, which is no longer available.
I have been using my juicer for over 3 months now and really like the fact that I rarely have to cut my fruits in order for them to fit. I use it at least 2 times per week, and I am very happy that I am adding to a healthy lifestyle. The one problem I have been experiencing is getting thin slices of both carrots and apples along with the pulp. I must admit though that the pulp is dry. I have called Breville and they told me To ensure that I am making the correct selection for the correct speed fruit / vegetables. For example, I use speed 5 for the carrots and apples, but I still see some thin slices. I again tried speed 4 and saw the same problem. It 's not a lot, but enough to cause some concern. Afterall, fruits and vegetables can be costly, and this can be translated into wasting my money and the produce. I welcome any suggestion if someone had this problem and was Able to resolve it.
One month using the product twice a day, so below are my inferences so far: r r-Love the 5 different speed settings, specially for soft fruits such as strawberries which require slower rpm. Small observation: soft and small fruits will be triturated before you are able to properly cover the feed tube, so there is (usually) some splattering of fruit particles. R-Not as bulky as other juicers out in the market, and personally due polished to its attractive design I don 't mind it at all sitting on the counter. Plus, for me it 's not pragmatic to put away the 14-16 lbs machine after every use. r-Pulp waste is considerably dry (for a household Juicer) - Softer fruits might not get completely ground, but instead springhalt to the waste bin in big pieces. r-It is not quiet - but in comparison with other brands Juicer -- it is tolerable. Watch for a little trembling of your counter top and neighbors wondering why do you vacuum so often in your kitchen ... r-As long as you clean the removable parts immediately after juicing Stainer-prone fruits / vegetables such as beets or carrots , your machine will not be stained. r-The filter mesh is somewhat tedious to clean. The brush included with the Juicer seems to be the most efficient tool to clean it. Be gentle when cleaning the mesh, mine I did bend a bit while cleaning it. R ri am truly satisfied with my purchase and do recommend the product to anyone considering buying a Juicer in this price range.
We are really impressed us with the quality of the juicer. The product designers spend a lot of thought into his role. It 's no louder than a vacuum cleaner, easy to clean, user-friendly ... and above all, it makes good juice. We 're very happy with him and the feeling that it sa steal ' to the retail price of $ 180.
After reading many reviews have juicing machines, this lived up to the hype .... It is extremely powerful, easy to use and is not juice! Please note, I have the machine for less than one months in possession, but so far everything is good!
I have this juicer for my daughter 's birthday. He describes it as, "the best Juicer ". She has been doing all fruit juice with the juicer. She says the strainer / filter is large, as does an excellent job of removing the pulp of the finished product. It is easy to clean and comes with a tool to help clean the mesh screen. It has a solid, well built feel to it, not light and flimsy. Furthermore, as an appliance is quiet, and when in use, the sound does not drown the conversation, TV, radio, etc.. I still have to use the blender, but I had the juice, which produces and drinks that are delicious, and without problems.
For weeks I spent time reading every review I could surf the net Juicer, I thought I 'd sure winner in nailed, especially with all the stars in the Amazon. My experience wasn 't one of the stars of the wave. Although maybe I'm just taking a bit of Lemony Creature, I thought I 'll give Bréville longing for now and focus on some other brands with which I am more familiar at least by word of mouth. R rWhat Went wrong? R r (1) After all the appropriate parties dutifully walking through a rack dishwasher urgent TOP exactly like a manual, an ambitious food - which seems closed - a sudden Was 2-3 tablespoons. liquid sloshing around in it. I can 't even find a way to uncork it and let it out. I read the book again. Nothing. I emailed Bréville, who jumped in their favor on the admin to send an email to me letting me be part of the FedEx back to them lickety-split. However, the plot .... Before I could do that, other problems arise. R r (2) Both cute little rubber and plastic spout wall juice jug kept me free from splattering. I can 't make a bit more closely match the. Vroom Vroom, this machine has more "to " instead of proficiency. It's NOT okay. R r (3) After calling Bréville (only takes 2 hours to get through), for the ID Man 'd him as a manager DID WHAT YOU DON ' T relationship with customers who are not satisfied: the word customer to describe what they doing wrong. Bad move. As pointed out to me how it was clearly my fault (the spurt), I lost myself. Psych 101 says "Don 't Defend Yourself. " I thought I was late for a snack break or something ..... R r 'm sending it back. For close to $ 200, I wanted a machine that makes me want to go to the trouble to make juice. While a neat and fast, this machine is not.
I read reviews on different brands and models and selected based on Breville 900 scrutiny. This performance as well as set, cleans easily, stores well and I love the plug. Yes the plug! I want all to plug one like it.
The Breville 900-Watt BJE510XL Variable-Speed Juice Extractor is everything I expected. I bought one for my wife and I, and one for my family and duaghter. Both have found a juicer should be user friendly, easy to maintain and clean, very good power, and fun in the presentation.
This is my first juicer, and we love it. I spent a long time (months) juicer online research by reading reviews and looking on You Tube. After much deliberation, I chose the Breville Ikon. I was juicing every day, sometimes twice a day. I vegetable (green) juice for me, and fruit (citrus) juice for me and my husband. I really like the speed more about this Juicer. We have a lot of juice of oranges and strawberries, also small at low speed. This Juicer is very easy to clean. I used the suggestions I read online and place a thin plastic bags in trash produce pasta of all time, that the great works and saves time.
I love this juicer. Cleaning is very simple, because most of the pieces (except the container that catches the pulp and the pitcher) fit in the upper rack of the dishwasher. It does a good job of pressing apples, pears, melons, carrots, berries, etc..
BJE510XL Breville Ikon 900 Watt Variable speed Breville juice extractor GL ordered two of these. First is defective, the Co. Breville send FREE S & H coupon (FedEx) to send back. Got new replacement in less than a week. RI then ordered my only son. Had no problem at all. Great juices. RViva Mayfield Rodessa, TX
Juicer This is the first I've ever had, so maybe I expected too much. But the amount of waste a lot more than I thought it would. A whole bag of spinach, about an inch worth of juice. Some of the pieces in the trash bags were almost not at all processed. I was really disappointed in this machine and gave it back. A good thing, it fit on my counter under my upper cabinets, so it was easy to fit into my kitchen.
Breville is the best product. I have other Breville products in my kitchen. I especially like the speed of 5 who has a juice extractor. I used it and it works great. I highly recommend it.
First of all, a distinction must be made on exactly what type of Breville juicer is, only then can these judgments be useful. The Breville belongs to a class called centrifugal juicer juicer. This work by forcing the voice juicing on a central, spinning blades, essentially, fine grid and then the contents are thrown out on a screen spinning (spinning a thousand or more revolutions per minute) ... This forces the juice through the screen, while the pulp is retained and then the screen tilted slips and falls over the top and holding a can of ... And then the juice is separated from the pulp. Other types of juicers are masticating juicer where the voice is literally crushed in a screw (big screw) and compressed so that the juice flows through a small screen at the bottom, while the pulp is pushed forward where it is ejected fine ... and the other type is the juicer which is basically an electric-powered reamer used to ream-out semi-manually citrus quickly. And finally there is the common kitchen blender. R achieve the kind of juicer has advantages and disadvantages ... be capable of all types of fruit juice and vegetables well and efficiently you really need all four types of juicer. In reverse order ... RKitchen Blender: For delicate or very soft, very fleshy fruits (raspberries, bananas, blueberries) rCitrus Juicer: For maximum convenience, speed, ease and a good amount of extraction for all citrus juices rMasticating Juicer: virtually the only type of juicer leafy green vegetables (but will also perform well with all the elements that are not too soft and pulpy, like the small screen caps too easily), but warned, the process of extracting juice is a lot, very slow! RCentrifugal Juicer: very, very fast rate of extraction and the large screen makes the fleshy fruit of juicing easy and fast. However, very fleshy (ie bananas) and very soft fruit could do much better than the above, the juice / pulp separation process and simply throw them in a food processor. R RNOW on Breville specifically: To me his spin on the best juicer out there. Engine is very powerful and feature variable speed makes it more useful on a wider range of fruit / vegetables, but in fact the soft fruit such as raspberries, strawberries, etc., and some small fruits like blueberries do well in this juicer to any Speed also the slowest speed is so severe that glides too quickly over the top of the screen before the juice of what can be extracted from them. Expect then to the pulp of many fruits and vegetables (like tomatoes) to include the juice after processing.I would really suggest using a blender for the berries and then add the juice extracted separately ... its both cheaper and healthier for you in this way. Green leafy vegetables (including wheatgrass) are another problem for any element centrifugal juicer ... they are not real juice don 't even bother trying ... leafy greens is what the juicer chewing really excel. Finally, although the Breville citrus juice will soon weary of exfoliation than you can juice with the rind still as oils extracted from citrus peels Don 't taste very good at all. Once you 've bought a good citrus juicer you ' ll understand why this is really the only way for any citrus juice. The Breville is great for all kiwis, apples, carrots, celery, stalks of broccoli, asparagus, radishes, beets, kohlrabi, heads of cabbage (outer leaves removed and sliced his head at point 3 "), the grapes on the vine , mango, peaches, pears and prunes (with pits / seeds removed of course), all melons, papaya, etc. ... also tomatoes and strawberries (but don 't expect that the dough must be very dry). .. and there is no need to Peel many of these elements before processing (only melons), simply drop them into 3 large "drop. The pressing process is really fast and clean-up is a breeze ... 3 parts and just wash the brush screen. The FIT / finish, materials used and quality in general, are all excellent and intelligent design. R rthe Breville disadvantages are also at lowest speed is still fast enough and soft fruit and vegetables can be literally thrown out through children that 3 "drop diameter feed if you are quick enough to cover the piston with the or hand ... yes, you can get real confused as also in laying pieces of food / juice on the walls of the kitchen, etc.. so there is a bit 'of a learning curve when juicing soft objects. We ' ve Breville this property for the last 3 months and have used it every day ... the blades have tarnished a bit 'because it was new, which is to be expected, but still all-in-all remain strong enough to get the job done ... and the transparent plastic tray is slightly less faded from all the carrots, but once again it was predictable and it's just very, very light. r rBottomline here ... we were very please with this Breville and can be recommended for fruit juices and vegetables, mostly with the notable exception of being green leafy vegetables (get a juicer to squeeze just chewing thereof) and citrus (Citrus juicer would be much more convenient), and finally Don 't expect soft elements to 100% .. completely extracted...
I 'm amazed at how well it meets my needs, what a good job is not, and easy cleaning. It is so easy to use I was juicing for at least 1 to 2 times a day! So far, it 's pagdederekta each type of fruit / vegetables I ' ve tried and the results are delicious. Save the contents of a freezer bag and save it to my good friend for her compost pile so there goes the trash. I 'm very pleased and hope it lasts a long time.
After spending a long time done all the reviews, I was a little nervous because this bunch of $ $ to spend and some of them spoke of combustion out and so on. I was sure I was going to buy from Amazon if they have a return so easy. Rbut not worry at all ... since the first time I used I love it, easy to use and has the biggest juicer clean. My sister, but since it does not fit into any kitchen cabinet in your kitchen and decide to go to the smaller model.
This product is great! I live in a dorm, so I was worried about noise and if you 'd be able to clean my small sink. The juicer is a compact and easy to clean all parts in my bathroom sink. It 's not enough to bother people around me.
I read countless reviews and waited a long time before deciding on the Breville Ikon. I 'm so glad that I am with this! It is easy to use, easy to disassemble and clean, quiet, efficient and does exactly what it has to do-plus it looks good. I 've never eat enough fruits and vegetables, so I decided to try juicing. I 've heard horror stories about broken juicer or not in a position to handle vegetables difficult. This is very durable and can take full carrots, ginger, celery etc without breaking a sweat. The easy cleaning makes this a bit using what you actually every day. I really can prep more fruits and vegetables (eg, cutting up pineapple, apples, tomatoes, carrots), make the juice and not the entire rehabilitation in about 15-20 minutes. As long as the line of the pulp collection bin with a plastic bag and clean up is a breeze. I have this thing a few months before writing a review because I really wanted to make sure that it lived to its reputation, and it certainly does not!
I have been shopping with Amazon for years and have never felt compelled to give a product review so far - I loooooove this !!!!!! This juicer is so easy to use and cleanup is a breeze - I refuse to wash by hand and the pieces come apart easily and thoroughly cleaned in the dishwasher - you just have to give them a right rinsing rapid after the operation - - No problem! I've used almost all the product I bought the juice in a few days of use - and have already started making my own mixes - can 't believe it - this machine is worth every penny! I highly recommend the work of mixed vegetables with fruit juice for nutritional content and cutting calories - and a great addition to a morning juice (or any other time you want one for me) is the root ginger costs - it tones your entire system! I tried a mixture of 4 cores, 2 wedges of honeydew melon, 1 orange, a sprig of parsley, a couple of small buttons ginger, cucumber, and 1 / 2 lemon - made two glasses of juice ' excellent! My husband, who suffers from asthma and allergies, "felt completely cleared after drinking the mix - getting ready, but makes you feel awesome! Go out and buy one - can 't recommend it more highly !!!!!!!!
LOVE IT! We have had great fun experimenting w / different mixtures of juice. It's amazing how easy it is to receive the children (and adults) to pamper their Friuts veggies and drink them when you divide. eat them. When we were fortunate to be getting 3-4 fruits and vegetables combined. Now we are starting 8-10! I hate raw celery, broccoli, apricots, cherries, and tomatoes ... but you put them together in a juice and I love them all!
This is one of the best and easiest to use juicer that I had. Rit makes excellent juice in seconds. Rall parties are well built, breaks down quickly and are easy to clean. RHighly recommended! R rBreville BJE200XL 700-Watt Compact Juice Fountain
We got rid of our old juicer at a yard sale because it is difficult to clean. Breville is awesome and cleans up fast. All we have enjoyed the juice and we have not wasted food anymore.
