I bought one of these for my son and daughter-in-law to 4th gear () anniversary. I cooked a meal using both at home and loved the ease of use and cleaning. When I got home, I realized my 20 year old electric wok could not 't have a candle to Wok Breville. I ordered one for me and never regretted it.

This thing is solid as a rock. In addition, easy to clean. Best of all, is super hot. It 's only fault is that you must know how to cook Asian food to be good taste. I was beyond help by this. But it 's fun. I would buy this again.

Quick delivery and secure packaging. Showed it to a professional chef friend of mine and he is impressed with the quality. We enjoy asian cousine here so it gets frequent use. For a wok is a pure joy to cook in ... then I recommend this EW30XL Bréville Electric Gourmet Wok. Woks I cooked with a lot in my life ... but, as ever as this is a wonderful! It has a value that will set the maximum height, and after 10 minuttes Turner off. Simply put oil and peanut or sesame oil in ... wait a few seconds and put their meat stir fry. So it cook evenly and thoroughly, without burning anything. Add the sauce and vegetables ... throw 6 times, and voila! Unplus machine and put it on white rice You 've cooked just before it. Not won 't leave food scraps .... Guaranteed! The cleaning is so easy. You can wash the inside with a soft cloth and soap, or use a debugger plastic gently loosen the contents. Dry inside, and 's ready to go again. Indredients have enough to feed 6-8 people if necessary, but perfect for 4 or even 2! You will not be disappointed with this fine product.

very well built, has the quality feel of the air quality, and most importantly, the results are of quality. The manual is well written, easy to understand. I used frying, slow cooking, steaming, and oh yes sauteed, stir fry, stir fry.the none stick cooking surface is among the best used.i i have never had to use bamboo tools and not only to protect the surface, but to hear and feel the sound of clapping bamboo together.clean Installation is quick and easy. If you want to get away from the stovetop woks this should be your first choice.

this is a very good cooking apparatus. it is easy to clean and use. The temperature control is excellent and the food will not stick at all. this wil change the way you cook. well worth the price.

We 've been hammering this wok for a couple of years and it is amazing: fantastic. RTender R things that have to cook more benefit from this super-hot-stick wok. R rFish pieces, filet mignon chunks and veggies every form of rock in this wok. rGet a ! R RSUPE-easy to clean.

We have used this Wok in an office to make lunches for the employees for the last 14 months. I posted the photo of the empty wok (click "view all customer images " to see it - it's the 3rd image). You can see that the Teflon has discolored, but it is in absolutely perfect working order. We just turn it to high and leave it there and stir fry away. We use it 4 days a week, every week. R rSome others have said that the Teflon is scratched or flakes off, but I can 't imagine more abuse than we ' ve given this one in an office and our Teflon has had no problems at all. BUT, we do three things: 1) we only use wooden utensils or silicon, 2) we let it cool down before we clean it, and 3) we clean it by a) wiping with a paper towel, B) wiping with a SOAPY sponge, then wringing out the sponge and C) wiping with a damp, not SOAPY sponge. Most people make the mistake of cleaning it when it 's hot, or Teflon overcleaning. You want to just barely clean Teflon: it will last a lot longer that way. Just a quick couple of wipes - maybe 20 seconds in all. Ours has never been in the sink. And it still performs like the day we bought it: nothing sticks to it at all. R rThis is one of the highest quality products I have ever bought. I have nothing but All-clad pans so my standards are the highest. Don 't abuse this thing when you clean it and it will last a long time. 4 times a week for about 60 months means we 've used this thing about 240 times. It still performs like the day we bought it.

I 'ma guy and cut my teeth on the traditional wok over a gas stove used 20 years ago. Bought this one as a gift for my wife, but with that came my promise to do most of the Chinese cooking! She was skeptical at first, but now is sooo grateful! R rThis wok is superior to a traditional one. Has become the workhorse in our kitchen. I also like cooking with cast iron and wok this 's stable for moderate mass makes cooking temps. We use it to heat tortillas, make omlettes, make crepes, stir fry julienned zucchini in place of pasta, and of course for some great Chinese cooking. I even make homemade pasta and sauce Sautee vegetables for soups cajun bean in it. Heat is great and adjusts quickly and easily. I really like the large dial. Did some Chinese burritos (Mu Shu pork / chicken) for some friends. When it came time to serve, just popped off the controller and the entire wok Placed in the table. A nice presentation and everybody just dug in! Can donate the traditional one! I should also add that for as hot as this thing gets, I have never burned myself on it. R rCooking surface shows it has gotten a lot of use over the past 8 months but has retained its integrity. The spatula that came with mine works great. Bamboo utensils might decrease the service life of the non-stick surface. We usually cook with very high heat with a minimum of oil and it is possible that some things can stick a bit. But de-glazing before it can burn with a teaspoon of water quickly releases sticks and anything that adds color and flavor to the dish. Also makes cleanup a snap! r rSome have remarked that the base is difficult to reinstall after cleaning. Personally, have no problem with it. Can usually get it back on and latched in under 30 seconds. To clean it well, it would be best to take the handles off, but over the time we 've had it have not done that. Have always managed to get a paper towel in the space between the handles and the unit. The large glass dome is nice and heavy, I just have a hard time keeping it sparkling clean. It also has a loop in the plug to insert a finger to make it easier to safely extract it from the electrical receptacle. R rAnybody who enjoys cooking with a wok will appreciate the quality and sturdiness of this appliance. Would make a great gift and I have at least 2 people lined up for it.

I didn 't want to be the odd man out "of writing a negative review of a product that would otherwise Glowing tributes. But I think most of the reviews as the top rated one who said that this wok ' a little ' Heat serious 'are at least a bit' confusing for those who understand stir fry. R ref you watched the Chef In The Act, part of the flame is over the bread. I do not know what this means in terms of degrees of F or C, but I can understand is that if a design degrade this heat of over 20% in support of a non-stick coat fancyful / / lid shaped like a butterfly / blah blah blah what it ends up to be ... but all beautiful indeed sorry .... I beg to differ .... NOT WOK ... NOT SOMETHING EVEN close to one. R ref stirfry you like to try this alternative is $ 15. Get a large cast of size iron skillet. Heat oven to reach over a (more) serious heat. OUTDOORS Take This (or a large area with good ventilation) and for the next 3 minutes stirfry! I warmed up my behind becomes incandescent and frankly, has never achieved results are in fantasy world. R RCA What am I doing here comparing a wok to a humble expensive electric Skillet? Much more of this is about what it takes explainig in the real world actually strifry and last but not least some of you, trying to save some '$ $ $ as well.

When my husband wanted a skillet, I'm Concerned I will conduct research and purchasing. When we receive the pan, (the delivery) I was hesitant until I use it. We have used it every night and it 's really amazing. Burn pan control mode is really a statement. It really boils sears your meat and your meal. Clean up is the best part. Come apart with ease cleanup. If I'm going to say something negative will find room for it. It is not true that sat at our table.

This is honestly the best wok I 've ever bought. I received this a few days and tried to make a couple of stir-fry dishes with absolutely fantastic results. I 've tried numerous wok stove top before, but no one hot enough for stir frying. Let me close constantly stewing meat. This work not only reaches a very high temperature, but also keeps while cooking. I 've used 3 times so far and can ' t wait to make more dishes. R RAL, it came with a plastic spatula stir FRY that is also really excellent. I haven 't been able to find a good plastic in stores so this was a great added bonus. Well worth the price.

This has been extremely useful addition to our kitchen. The unit heats quickly and maintains proper cooking time for each cycle. The Electric Wok Bréville is easy to use, clean and maintain. I recommend this product.

Hi everyone, well I just got this Wok a couple weeks ago. First off, I 'm the kind of chef at all and this is my first wok so can only tell you what has appealed to the ' rookie '. First, I was pleasantly surprised at how heavy it was, a lot of woks I had seen before did not seem very durable. I dont have to worry about bumping into it and creating a disaster thats for sure. Second, I really like how thick the glass is on the lid, really nice to see inside while its cooking. R rthe no-stick surface is really great, they have a name for it but I forget offhand but I can tell you this is the first non-stick surface I ever saw that food actually did not stick too even if I overcook the food by accident. After 5 cleanings I still cannot get anything to stick, I just wipe it out good and she 's ready to roll. I did disassemble via the release lever on bottom and dishwasher clean it once to try that out, nice and simple. R rWith its 6 quart size (didn't realize how big 6 quarts was until it arrived!) You can feed a full sized family with this thing, I 'm single so my portions are much smaller and so I can cook 1 or 2 person meals in almost an instant once I ' ve pre-heated it. Another great thing is it seems to get just as hot on the sides of the bottom so I 'm not having problems with irregularly cooked foods.

Breville Electric Wok is perfect for tables and / or counter top cooking. Cooking with these pans very easy! Food is cooked evenly, with temperatures that suites your chips taste good and look before and after you and your guests serve a delicious meal itself. Pan suitable for most recipes. More importantly, Breville Wok wash and dry without much effort. The Breville Wok is a highly recommended addition to "must have " a list of cooking equipment.

They say it's the best gift they 've ever received and the best they WOK ' ve ever seen. She said it 's totally solid construction, easy to clean, extremely versatile. I 'm going to get one for myself soon.

I bought two of these bad boys and they measure up to their rating. I made spicy green beans and chicken stir fry in one in the other. They took a minute to warm up but were Blazing within a few minutes. Everything turn out perfectly and you can feel and see the quality. These are the best I 've seen so far and I spent some time shopping around.

My husband is the chef of our house, and we were both very happy we bought this Breville frying pan. Everything cooks fast & tastes delicious! Our first experience with the Breville, and we will be happy to buy their products again.

Wok is dreadful and performance ... after a few seasonings, as is always a good idea before cooking it, we got rolling a few recipes ... I 've made of chicken, veggies, beef, and sauces in this matter and it ' s very easy to remove base, wipe down and keep (after time it again after each use). The temperature dial is easy to use, as a wok is good, accurate consistent with the adjustments I make food thoroughly. Come with see through vented lid which is great. The price is right and I think, if you care (as the time, use only plastic or wooden tool) this is my last year. If you use metal it you 're going to its destruction. And if you don 't it repeated time, of course things are going to stick. Know your people oils.

This is the theme we had more wok. And there have been problems with non-stick surface - people could be putting the power cord and legs, inserted in the pan for storage? If so, I am sure it is scratched. We used our two dozen times now, and finish is impeccable. Just save the cable separately. R rHeat is very strong and very fast - The Hook Up is exceptionally easy to disconnect. Clean up was easy, using very small amounts of peanut oil has been the key. Capacity is a plus: tofu dish cooked with eight no problems.

Man, what a fanstatic Electric Appliance! I 've had me for a year now, enough time to use the wok a lot and give him the highest rating, since all of the experiences I ' ve had with him. It warms up quickly, it 's easy to clean, and the see-through lid is really convenient because it doesn ' t too much cloud, even though steam. I 've used the traditional stove-top wok in the past and must say that I am to see this Breville Wok, much easier. Clean-up is a breeze, too. In addition, the bowl is large enough to hold several medium-size stacked bamboo steamers. Some guests have said they find the lock / unlock mechanism base to a little cumbersome, but I 've never had any problems with this. If you 're looking for the best electric wok on the market, you ' ve found it with the Breville EW30XL.

This is my second purchase of a product brevelle and i 'm more than happy with it. Easy to use, easy to clean. it 's great for the hotter temperatures for stir-frying. and cook with gas stove and could never be my wok hot enough. This is a real treat. One problem is that liquid from the pan. with a stove-top, you pick up the wok and is at the top. because this is an electrical basis, it 's difficult to move out and more time to consume spoon the liquid. My only other minor complaint, and was with my other product that is the recipe book doesn 't a lot of recipes and none of them are very appealing. To say that if you buy this product, either a wok cookbook or go on the Internet for recipes.

After using a wok we bought 20 years ago and that has not been cooking very well we thought is was about time to upgrade, wow, what a huge difference! This boy is wonderful!
